Peripheral

The peripheral will be placed at a popular tourist beach on Grand Isle, Louisiana.

It will consist of a human figure, larger than life sized, completely consisting of sea creatures combined together. For example, a dolphin would consist of the pelvis and part of the upper body, with coral reefs becoming ribs. A sea turtle connected to form the back, and all sorts of other creatures combining together to form the figure of a human being. This statue would be outfitted with LED lights as well.

There would be a computer at this statue asking people where they traveled from in order to come to this site, and what form of transportation. Once that information has been answered, the computer calculates how much oil was consumed for that trip to occur, and an LED will light up on the statue for every barrel of oil that was consumed.
